Oranmore Astro Fives started in September 2013 and ran until December. It’s Inaugural Winner’s were Skippy’s Kangaroo’s. It takes place in Oranmore at the Astro Cages behind the Church.
The format of this League currently is that it is split into 2 Divisions, Premier League & Championship League. Teams will play eachother 2 or 3 times in a season depending on the number of teams in each division.
Long term Oranmore Astro Fives will be run 3 rounds each year.
1. Oranmore Astro Fives Spring League (2 Divisions subject to change) & An Open Draw Cup Competition
2. Oranmore Astro Fives Summer League (2 Divisions subject to change) & An Open Draw Cup Competition
3. Oranmore Astro Fivess Autumn/Winter League (2 Divisions subject to change) & An Open Draw Cup Competition
Galway Astro Fives is a 5-a-side soccer Tournament that start’s in April each year. It started with 1 Division with 13 Teams. This competition’s Inaugural Winner’s were Townies Headford. The League finishes in early July each year.
It takes place at the state of the art 3G Floodlit Pitches at the Astrobay, Ballyloughane, Galway.
