Galway Astro Sevens started in September 2012. It started with 1 Division with 8 Teams. It ran until Christmas 2012. Inaugural Winners were Irish Rail. It also has a Open draw Cup Competition. Inaugural Winners of this Competition were Crowes Bar. It has now expanded into 2 Divisions.
Long term Galway Astro Sevens will be run 3 rounds each year.
